This r&b queen is an absolute pleasure to work with. When we collaborated on this shoot, it was just after the release of her EP Burning Bridges so the aim was for these press shoots to be used as a springboard for promotion but also as a way of reminding the world that she's still every bit the authentically natural artist they love (hence the natural back drop).

Maria is such a multi-talented artist both vocally and in terms of her artistic vision. Much of the concept of this shoot for her two singles " I AM" & "YOU AND I" came from her own imagination. She provided some rough sketches of what she envisioned and I had the pleasure of bringing them to life, it was a truly creative collaboration and as you can see, it yielded some beautiful images.
